- Claire Askew – Edinburgh Book Festival Appearances – 2018 - Former Tyne and Esk Writing Fellow Claire Askew is making two appearances at the Book Festival this year, on Friday the 17th August (reading from her award-winning collection of poetry This Changes Things) and Sunday the 19th August (her crime fiction debut All the Hidden Truths).
- Woodstock Play - A staged reading of former Tyne and Esk Creative Writing Fellow Tom Murray's play Woodstock is being performed at the venue Dram! on Woodlands Road in the West End of Glasgow. Please see attached flyer for more information. Click here for more information about the venue.

Meet The Authors – Penicuik – April 25th - Come along and meet popular local authors Catherine Simpson, Rebecca McKinney, Moira Cormack, Stella Hervey Birrell and Claire Askew on Wednesday the 25th April at the West Street Arts Centre, West Street, Penicuik in Midlothian.
Tyne and Esk Short Promotional Film - The previous Tyne and Esk Creative Writing Fellow Catherine Simpson and Membership Secretary Roy Moller have created a short film to encourage budding and experienced writers and poets in East and Midlothian to come along to their local writing group. It can be viewed here: Short Promotional Video.- Tyne & Esk Creative Writing fellow 2017-18 - Thanks to funding from the Musselburgh and Haddington Common Good Funds, we are happy to announce that Catherine Simpson has been re-appointed on a half-time basis as our Creative Writing Fellow, from the start of October, and will be attending four groups each month.
